South Africa 2019
FAQ's
Q: Will I have free time to myself?
A: Yes, some free time has been incorporated into the itinerary and we encourage you to get out and see more of South Africa through your own eyes.
Q: Will we eat together?
A: You will have the option to eat with the tour leaders or with other participants, or you may choose to eat separately. In most cases, you will be shown a range of food options that you will be able to choose from, with details of cost, nutritional content and variety.
Q: What if I cannot complete an activity?
A: Activities are not high intensity and are therefore designed to suit everyone. We and our tour providers will aid you through all activities as much as possible. If you feel you cannot physically complete an activity, there is no pressure to do so. We would ask that you respect the continuation of others’ involvement in an activity by not interfering with their participation.
Q: If I feel unwell, can I not participate in an activity?
A: We would ask that you let us or the activity leader know that you aren’t well, and we will endeavour to make you as comfortable as soon as possible. If you miss out on an activity due to illness, we will do our best to find you a substitute activity/experience.
Q: Can I take photos?
A: Absolutely! We encourage you to take photos of the tour and upload them to your social media accounts.
Q: Can I pay to stay extra nights at the hotel after the tour is finished?
A: We are happy to ask the hotel if you can extend your stay beyond the tour if you ask us when you reserve your place. Obviously, this will incur extra costs for the room which we will pass onto you prior to the commencement of the tour. If you ask us after we have made the booking, we would ask that you enquire with the hotel yourself to ascertain if extending your stay is a possibility.
Q: My friend wants to come too, can we stay in the same room?
A: Absolutely yes! You would both then be eligible for the twin room price. Just let us know if you want to get cosy with your “friend”, or if two beds are still necessary.
Q: I really want to do abseiling on Table Mountain, but I don’t see it listed on the itinerary. Will I get a chance to do it?
A: Any specific attractions not listed on the itinerary that you want to visit will need to be done in your allocated free time. We will certainly be able to give you guidance on how to go about seeing any attractions not listed on the itinerary. If there happens to be a number of people within the group who want to visit a specific attraction, upon the agreement of the entire group, we are happy to make changes to the itinerary to incorporate such requests.
